Raven software is expected to release its much awaited, time warping sci-fi first-person shooter game Singularity this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platform. The exciting game was displayed at D.I.C.E. 2009 Summit in Las Vegas and E3 expo last month. The awesome gameplay of Singularity was praised everywhere.
In the Activision game, your character will be Nate, an Air Force pilot whose plane crashes on an island off the Russian cost. The island has a lot of mysteries to be explored and to add something far more interesting, a time-travel complication keeps you flipping between 2010 and 1950s.
The plot details of the game are not revealed yet. The only thing known is that Nate acquires a time-manipulation device which lets him change the flow of time around an object. The incredible power can be explained by the prospect of a simple barrel turning into red canister of exploding doom by reversing time. You can also warp the time to age the object until it crumbles from rust.
The combat is the best feature of the game. You can grab an enemy and turn him into dust instantly. Also, you’ll be able to temporarily revive dead non-player characters by using the time manipulation device. The game becomes more complex as the device can affect only objects originated in certain time range.
The graphic detail of the game is extremely good-looking. The warp effect created by the time-manipulating device looks really good.
